Captains Quarters Private Campground and Hobby Farm providing equine hospice care. Our current hospice care equine is a 42 year old special needs dwarf donkey. His name is Captain, born with an inverted hoof , blind in one eye and severe arthritis he gets around very well, loves attention along with daily grooming sessions. We are the second rescuers to have Captain in our care. His first rescuer Kim is also an amazing person with a big heart  she handed Captain over to us because he got to the stage of needing hospice.  He did not have a good start in life. His original owners did not treat him well. Many of our rescues have been successfully rehomed to good forever homes.

Currently we have 10 ducks all of which were incubated from original rescues.  Also common with any farm or ranch we have several semi feral  cats, many have been socialized and found good homes for.  Two goslings named Cagney and Lacy have now joined our little farm

Current  projects ( 2023)  and ongoing are wildlife restoration habitats and wildlife refuge maintenance which have become a stopping place for wild migrating water fowl as well as the Oregon tree frog and their food sources.
